Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

A modest 'turo-turo' store set-up in an apartment garage along Bagtikan Street in San Antonio Village in Makati City marks the humble beginnings of Mang Rudy's Tuna Grill and Papaitan.

Together with his family, Rudy Domingo had to walk away from ailing economy triggered by unlawful violence and military conflicts in General Santos City. Once in Manila, he had to find a way to provide for his wife and his four children. He has always loved to cook and his passion propelled him to go on a business venture with his 'turo-turo' as a kickstarter. On January 10, 2004 the first Mang Rudy's branch started doing business.
